Our goal at Bright Homes is to make the home buying process as pleasant as possible.  This is an exciting and challenging time! Feel confident that throughout the home buying process you will be assisted by one of our knowledgeable preferred lenders. They must meet our high standards of service and are ready to answer any questions you may have.

Buying a New Home
Purchasing a new home is quite different than purchasing a re-sale home.  Construction scheduling, option purchases and other unique factors make obtaining a new home loan very different. Our preferred lenders have extensive experience in new home financing which helps when orchestrating loan closing dates with new home delivery dates. We are able to extend special savings and incentives to buyers who secure a loan with one of our preferred lenders.

The Loan Application
The loan application is perhaps the most important part of the mortgage process.  Your loan representative will collect information pertaining to your income, assets, and liabilities, and will order a credit report. This information will allow your representative to recommend a loan program that best fits you and your family.

You will typically need to provide:

  • Recent paycheck stubs for each borrower;
  • Two years of the most recent W-2's or 1099’s for each borrower;
  • Two years of the most current tax returns;
  • Two months of the most recent bank statements for all of your accounts.

Closing Escrow
Bright Homes will determine when your home will be complete and notify you of the closing date. Bright Homes will also schedule your walk-through (homeowner orientation) approximately one week before closing. Your loan representative will already have your loan documents at the title company and the escrow officer will schedule your signing appointment, to which you will bring a certified check or cashier's check for the closing costs. Prior to the close of escrow you must obtain homeowner’s insurance (with the carrier of your choice). Your lender will now fund the loan. The following day at the time of recording you will receive the keys to your new home!

Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of a new Bright Home!
